WHO WE ARE

Caring for Citizens of Alabama, Inc. is a frontline, community-based nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals and families across the state. Founded in 2016 with a profound heart for service, we stand with Alabama’s most vulnerable populations—those navigating the daily challenges of hunger, financial hardship, limited access to healthcare, and workforce barriers.

We are more than a relief organization; we are a catalyst for sustainable change. By delivering holistic, wraparound support, we meet urgent needs while also building long-term pathways to dignity, stability, and self-sufficiency. For nearly a decade, we have proudly served seniors, children, and at-risk families, empowering individuals to overcome adversity and strengthening the very fabric of our communities.

With this initiative, our goal is to help 250 unique individuals by year's end. However, we cannot accomplish this goal without help from the local community. Please consider supporting us by donating time, money, or products. Every $1,000.00 raised helps one family to avoid homelessness.

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. If you are a retired professional, enjoy clerical work, or like to be around people from all walks of life consider volunteering with Caring for Citizens of Alabama.
